Who makes Cruise America's used motorhomes?

The only units we sell are the sturdy units retired from our rental fleet. Nearly all originally manufactured by Four Winds according to our tough specifications. Back to top

Aren't rental operations hard on a motorhome?

Absolutely correct. That's why Cruise orders special durability features, extra safety features, and easy to operate features with every rental coach. We order our coaches "bullet proof" for the typical renter to operate and thus prevent hard use by renters. Back to top

Who would buy a motorhome with 80,000 or more miles on the odometer?

Lots of happy campers – about 25,000 so far. Look – all our used motorhomes are ready to roll and qualify for an extended service plan up to 250,000 miles. There's years and years of good life left in every coach. Back to top

Where can I see one of the motorhomes?

We have refreshed sales units available year round at our 16 sales centers, ready for your inspection. If one of our sales centers is too far away from your home base, we'll help out with airfare to a sales center of your choice. Talk to one of our Sales Pro's about our "Fly 'n Buy" program. Can we get diesel powered units from Cruise?

Not really. All our sales inventory is gasoline powered, which keeps the sales price lower than for diesel units. Back to top

Do you have a Rent-to-Buy Program

Rent a Cruise America motorhome for up to two weeks and then apply your time and mileage rental charges towards the purchase price of a Cruise America unit. You'll have up to six months to take advantage of this great deal. Try before you buy is a smart way to shop. Back to top

What about financing? And insurance?

No concern here. We have several national lenders lined up to handle any financing situation. With our volume business, we have great finance terms and conditions available for you. Plus, we can arrange for RV insurance and provide you with a wide range of warranty options. It's no hassle one stop shopping. Back to top

Is the interest I pay for the RV loan tax deductible?

Generally yes and that's one reason why an RV purchase is a good idea. There are restrictions and limitations – such as the RV must be used as security for the loan and the RV is one of two qualified homes on your tax return. However, we are not CPAs and you should confirm deductibility with your CPA. Back to top

Can I tow a car behind the RV?

Yes you can. All sales coaches are equipped with a receiver hitch. Our Class III hitches are rated to tow up to 3,500 lbs as equipped, and can be upgraded to tow up to 5,000 lbs. Check with your Sales Pro on limits with your expected RV travel activity. Back to top
